Doula Services

Prenatal Period

We will meet with you several times in the prenatal period to discuss your birth plan, goals, fears and concerns.  We will also help you apply what you learned in prenatal classes to your own birth, as well as including any additional tips we may have.  Baby care and breastfeeding information is provided.

We are available to you by phone/text and email 24hrs a day from contract signing until one year after the birth to discuss any concerns or questions you may have.

In Labor

Please call your Primary Doula when you think you are in labor.  This will help her prepare to meet you.  Please note that she may require up to an hour or more to get to you after you call.

Back-Up Support

We do work as part of the Doula community; therefore, we have access to back-up support if needed.  Please contact your Primary Doula first and then she will make the arrangements if/when back-up is needed.  In the event you require the assistance of back-up, your primary Doula will try her best to remain available by phone for any additional consultation.

What your primary doula can do for you.

  2. Draw on her knowledge and experience to provide emotional support and physical comfort.

  3. Help get the information you need to make an informed decision

  4. Discuss your concerns and options with you.

  2. Make suggestions for labor progress.

  3. Help with relaxation, massage, positioning, and other comfort techniques.

  4. Work with you and your partner as a team.
